Preparing the Mahi Mahi

First off, pat the Mahi Mahi dry with a paper towel and lightly spray the fillets with your oil spray. Then sprinkle half of the seasoning onto the Mahi Mahi and coat the top.

I like to use clean hands for this and lightly rub it around to completely coat the fish and get the seasoning to stick the best.

Flip the Mahi Mahi and repeat the process with the second half of the seasoning on the other side of the fillets. Gently place the seasoned Mahi Mahi fillets into the basket or rack of the air fryer and set it to 400 degrees F. Cook for 5 minutes.

Serving and Storing Instructions

Serve your air fryer Mahi Mahi over rice bowls with guacamole and pico and your favorite taco toppings. You could do the same on a bed of lettuce and make a salad or just go straight for a Mahi Mahi taco!

This recipe is also delicious as a main dish topped with a little of your favorite salsa or pico with a side of roasted veggies.

To store, let the fillets cool to room temp and place in an airtight container and refrigerate. It will keep for about 5 days. Eat the leftovers cold or reheat in the microwave for a snack or quick lunch!
