    Hi, there!

It sounds like you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, Nicole. How exciting! It's the very best kind if you ask me.

There are many magicalbenefits of staying at a Disney Resort hotel, but one of my favorites is the complimentarybus transportationto and from the theme parks. I love that I can count on this convenient service to get my family quickly and safely where we need to go!

Buses operate at approximately 20-minute intervals. Timing is subject to change, but I've never waited more than that amount of time for a bus to arrive. The time it then takes to get from a Disney Resort hotel to a theme park depends on your location. In my experience, a bus ride can range from 10-minutes to 25-minutes. If you're staying at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, you'll certainly be at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park in 10-minutes or less! If you're traveling to Magic Kingdom Park from that particular Disney Resort hotel though, your ride will most likely be closer to 25-minutes.

Be sure to download theMy Disney Experience mobile appprior to your visit. This app has lots of cool features, but I think you'll find the transportation features especially handy. The"Get Directions" featurewill give you directions anywhere within the Walt Disney World Resort and include travel estimates! I especially love the "Bus Times" feature, which gives you up-to-the-minute estimates for when the next bus will arrive at your Disney Resort hotel. How convenient is that?

I hope this was helpful, Nicole. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have!
