Disney's All-Star Resorts: Overview

Because Disney's All-Star Movies and Sports are on opposite ends of the trail, it would likely take between ten and fifteen minutes to walk between the two depending on the pace of your stroll and your exact location within each resort.

Disney's All-Star Movies Resort is very centrally located within the overall Walt Disney World property. You are quick bus rides away from all four parks, typically under 30 minutes to each.

Take a bus traveling from Disney's All-Star Movies Resort to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Take the walkway leading from Disney's Hollywood Studios to Disney's BoardWalk.

They are next-door-neighbors per se, so the distance isn't huge, but it really depends on where your rooms are located at each resort. If you are in the Movie's Toy Story buildings and they are in the Music's Rock Inn buildings, the walk is going to be more than if you are in other buildings.

Transportation at All-Star Movies Resort

Keep in mind that, at times, the resort shares transportation with All-Star Sports and All-Star Music, and Movies is typically dropped off last. The All-Stars are located closest to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

The All-Star Sports Resort is about half a mile away from the McDonalds located on West Buena Vista Drive; however, walking to the restaurant may not be an option because of restrictions and a possible lack of a sidewalk. It may be safest to take a short taxi ride from your resort.

Actual travel time by bus from Disney's All-Star Movies Resort to Disney Springs takes approximately 20 minutes. Adding in time to wait for a bus and walking to your dining location, I would plan to be at your resort bus stop at least 60 minutes prior to your reservation time. Buses arrive on average every 20 minutes.

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is an attraction unto itself. The grounds literally transport you into your favorite Disney animated movies, and the selfie opportunities are endless! When it is time for you to catch a bus from the Art of Animation to the Magic Kingdom, the actual bus travel time is about 20 minutes.

All-Star Resorts don't have a Skyliner station. They aren't near the monorail and have no boat access, either. Buses do come by frequently, sometimes stopping at the other All-Star resorts, depending on crowd levels and demand.

Disney's BoardWalk Entertainment District

Unfortunately, Disney's All-Star Sports Resort does not have access to Disney Skyliner, Angela. Therefore, you will have to take the complimentary Disney bus service to get to and from the theme parks.
